Having just had my third child, and feeling somewhat ‘snowed under’ with all that still needs to happen around the house and with the children it was great to discover Claire ‘Doulamum’. It has been immensely helpful to have Claire come and help out. She has been able to do the ironing and general tidying. She has baked for us and cleaned the bathroom. She even has collected the older children from school. All of these things have meant that I have had the chance to have precious time with our new daughter and have been able to catch up on some much needed sleep. I would recommend Claire. The service she offers is worth its weight in gold at such an exciting, but stressful time.

As a first time mum with no family locally and a husband unable to take paternity leave from work, I worried about how I would cope with a new baby and a house to organise, but assumed that I would just have to manage on my own somehow. It wasn’t until close to my due date that I was reccommended Claire as a doula mum. She has been a fantastic support to me as a new mother and has done anything that I needed to make the early weeks easier. The support  has been both practical and emotional -  breastfeeding and general baby advice, holding the baby while I had a bath, ironing, cleaning and shopping.  It made all the difference knowing that someone with experience was coming in to help me.  I would recommend having Claire as a doula to anyone.
